JANET ROBIN BIOGRAPHY    Visit her website at www.janetrobin.com    Music audiences around the world have seen and heard Janet Robin’s incredible guitar work as a former featured touring member of the Lindsey Buckingham Band (Fleetwood Mac)\, Michelle Shocked\, Meredith Brooks Band and Air Supply. As a youngster\, she was a lucky student of the legendary Randy Rhoads. Her abilities as a guitarist have garnered the admiration of many including Michelle Shocked who called Robin “one of the best guitarists in the country: male or female.”  She has shared the stage most recently with the likes of Monte Montgomery\, Heart\, Colin Hay\, Dan Navarro\, Catie Curtis\, and many more artists. Robin was able to raise the funds for her latest cd\, Everything Has Changed produced by John Carter Cash (Johnny and June's son) featuring a mixture of her husky vocals\, song styles from folk-rock to intimate fingerpicking\, to impressive flat picking. Robin signed a European licensing and distribution deal in 2010 and released Everything Has Changed. The album will now be released in the U.S. in May 2012.

SUMMARY:Grayson
DESCRIPTION:After a big 2009 and 2010 which included a Top 40 single in Ireland and #1 single in Australia\, the month of June in 2011 saw Grayson finish and release his second studio album\, Chronology. Shortly following in July\, Grayson landed in Chicago to start a massive 66 day tour. This tour took him across the United States from Chicago all the way to the Santa Monica pier playing festivals\, opera houses\, live music venues and in-person performances/interviews on radio. Grayson would not only spend 66 days on Route 66\, but he would also be the star of the American filmed and produced documentary called 66 Days On Route 66\, based on Grayson’s music and his journey experiencing America first hand as an Australian songwriter paving his way on the old mother road. DESCRIPTION:Music has always been something that has been a part of my life. Growing up I was the kid sitting in the corner of the room watching many jam sessions just hanging out listening to my dad\, uncle and all their friends play music. What I saw there was forever pressed into my head. I began writing my own music in my mid-teens but never took it very seriously; always just tossing the papers away and never really looking back on them. After freshman year of college I decided maybe it was time I started taking some of my writing seriously; what resulted was Texas Tornado. Since that point I have moved to Sacramento California; back to Texas and now to the great city of Nashville Tennessee to finish school up at Belmont. A good amount of my music is written in what I consider a one shot format; sitting down playing; making things up and then coming back to write out what was recorded (Morning Blues; Little Things; EJam; GPC) which explains some of the "bad qualities" of my recordings. Im not here trying to get famous; instead just trying to share my music with whoever decides to listen to it. The music on this page is either written by me or a band that I've played in\, in the past (the instrumentals). Feel free to download this music\, burn it and give it to as many people as you feel\, just let em know where it came from.

She can not be placed in any musical category\, she has created her own blend and genre of crisp instrumentation and spot on lyrics that leaves nothing for your imagination. If you ever been a woman scorned or a child mistreated this is just the therapy you need. This album is made with threads of deceit and reconciliation entwined in a blanket of courage and honest humbleness. There is an overall mellow drone through out with a nice mixture of rockin' angst. But that angst is shared with a childlike susceptibility to forgiveness and gratitude of experience gained through a road of hardships. She proclaims in the song\, TELL ME I'M WRONG\, that she hasn't been loved in a long time\, well I'm telling her\, "she is wrong"\, because I have had the pleasure to listen to this album and see her live and I have to say\, "Melody you are definitely LOVED!"  Melody Guy is on a fast track to success and her music shines like a light in a dark room. I highly recommend this CD if you are trying to free yourself of the everyday mundane norm being play on radio today. You can find freedom in Melody Guy's\, REAL FREEDOM!

DESCRIPTION:The boy writes poetry\, plays his guitar and sings. He sits on a bicycle seat atop an old steamer trunk and stomps his foot. He stomps so hard his right leg is larger than his left. The girl has a voice like the angels. She also adds a unique brand of hand percussion\, though troubles tend to disappear when she sings. Together they're wonderfully unpredictable. Quiet pretty songs\, coupled with those that will bite your head off is a common theme.

SUMMARY:Christine Salazar
DESCRIPTION:Puget Sound area artist Christine Salazar has been telling stories with her music since 2009.  She started playing piano at age 6 in her hometown of Port Orchard\, Washington\, and singing in the United Methodist Children’s Choir around age 9. She continued to grow as a singer as part of South Kitsap High School’s vocal jazz ensemble\, Highlighters; and later at Edmonds Community College as a member of the premier vocal jazz group Soundsation.  At age 15 she learned to play guitar\, and joined the worship band at her local youth group. In high school\, she played keyboards and sang backup vocals for one of the pioneering emo-core bands of Kitsap County\, G.L.A.S. She later gained more rock performance experience in college with her band Idole de L'ombre in Edmonds\, WA; and most recently as singer/writer/keyboardist for Kitsap band Reverie.  She wrote her first song\, “Sister\,” in 2001. “I remember sitting on the couch in my dear friend and then-drummer Julien’s living room\, nervously playing the song for him. The way he responded to the song lead to my first moment of actually believing I could make it as a songwriter. His words of encouragement stick with me to this day.”
